Federation Holiday to Devon, 29th June 2009 - 3rd July 2009
Bright and early on Monday we traveled by coach stopping at Lydiard House/Park near Swindon for lunch.
We continued on our journey arriving late afternoon at our hotel the Duke of Cornwall in Plymouth, where we spent 4 nights.
Tuesday we headed into Plymouth city for a look around before visiting the Plymouth gin distillery. After a most interesting tour with tasting we were able to purchase at the shop should we wish.
Free time saw several of us spending a beautiful sunny afternoon on a boat cruising past the Hoe and around the Naval shipyard.
On Wednesday we arrived at The Eden Project, as we made our way from the carpark down to the Biomes we past beautifully coloured pennants which flapped gently in the breeze.

Members of our party relaxing over dinner on Thursday night before returning home on Friday. Bottom right our dining room staff always helpful, efficient and cheerful.
